The Call to Wonder: Loving God like a Child by R.C. Sproul Jr.

Let’s face it, no man like to be called a “child”. We are living in a time even a child desire to be called man.

This book is scriptural challenge from Matthew 18:3 [Jesus said,] “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and becomes as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.”

How deceitful man can be by thinking all his theological study will measure him to spiritual maturity as man and yet R.C. Sproul Jr. humble us by saying “We should never equate theological snobbery with spiritual maturity.” Just on Chapter 7 alone “The Call to Maturity” is well worth the price of this book. And I was much moved by the closing chapter of this book where R.C. Sproul Jr give thanks to the Lord not only for “previous blessings” (his late wife) but also give thanks “for challenges and for the relief from those challenges.” (pg 171)

I can’t commend it highly enough. Jerry Bridges said it all from the opening page of this book.

The price of this book is well worth your purchase to read this book. You will find quite a few new refreshments from reading this book.
